Quick list of things that kill a 130 dervish instantly:
Interrupting Protective Spirit
Interrupting Mystical Regeneration
Heavy Degen
ANY kind of enchantment removal: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Enchantment_removal
Daze
Blindness
Weakness
Cripple

These are kinda useless except in PvE for farming, whilst usable in PvP not reccomended unless you have alot of experiance using one although i'm not sure what build the ones you faced could have been i've taken on alot of them and none have really been able to last a long time in PvP.

No, cripple is a counter vs. 130 dervs. Cripple 'em and they'll limp around slowly, completely harmless.
I love these 130 guys in AB...

You can't interrupt 1/4 casting spells, even with daze! that's only 1/2 casting time! To interrupt a 1/4 casting spell, you'd have to plop arcane conundrum and daze to increase the spell to 1 second. Then you have a chance.
Those 130 Dervishes were idiotic. If you want to try and run a 130 Dervish build, what is Vow of Silence there for? No spells will touch you! With Mystic Regeneration and Prot Spirit, you would really be invincible. Adding Fleeting Stability and Signet of Pious Light (to end it before it lasts its full duration) will protect against knockdowns. That's a true invincible Dervish.

If you cast Rend right after he casts Protective Spirit, you'll have nearly 5 seconds to do 130 damage. Considering a simple Lighting Orb + Lightning Strike does more than 130 damage, I don't think you'll have any trouble.

You've evidently never played a ranger with broadhead arrow.
If pathetically easy to interrupt mystic regeneration if the target's dazed and being attacked. Have a pet or an Assassin attack him and you're guaranteed to interrupt every single spell.
Hell, with that combo I've seen glyph of sacrifice'd spells being interrupted.
